Secretary Blinken’s Travel to Arizona

Secretary Blinken will travel to Tucson and Sedona, Arizona on May 3, 2024. In Tucson, Secretary Blinken will tour the Tucson Passport Center, where he will observe operations and later meet with staff from the Western Passport Center. Secretary Blinken will then visit an emergency call center where he will speak with Tucson Mayor Regina Romero and health and law enforcement officials about the impacts and challenges of fentanyl and other synthetic drugs in the Tucson community.

In Sedona, Secretary Blinken will headline the McCain Institute’s 2024 Sedona Forum. He will participate in a conversation with U.S. Senator Mitt Romney (Utah) on Friday evening, May 3. Senator Romney and Secretary Blinken will discuss current U.S. foreign policy, including the Secretary’s recent travel to China and the Middle East.
